I like playing NetHack. Today marks the day I ascended (= beat the game) for the first time.
The run was mostly painless, female dwarven valkyrie being the noob-friendly option it is. The only complication was the fact that there were no operational shops anywhere, none in the regular levels, and then I got the Orcish town… This meant no price-identifying items, and I had to risk blind-reading a few scrolls. Luckily, this didn't backfire.
