As I've written before, my main guitar has been a 1990 Fender Stratocaster Plus since I got it in 2005. I use it in my music project, where I play in drop C (CGCFAD).
However, I have been trying to expand my playing beyond just my project's own material, which means I need to have a guitar specifically set for standard tuning. I was low key looking for a decent budget guitar when the universe decided otherwise. I spotted a basically identical Stat Plus on the local used market for an (expensive but still) agreeable price. I had to pounce.
This one is a 1989 model in (what I think is) Gun Metal Blue. Unlike my other Strat, this hasn't been modified, nor has it been played to hell and back. There is even some gold left on the "Fender Lace Sensor" text on the pickups. Additionally, unlike the other Strat, this has a Hipshot Tremsetter installed, which I need to figure out and have properly set up at some point.
